Route tracing works with any kind of message structure. The Fuse Message wizard creates an empty message, leaving the structuring of the message entirely up to you.
To create a test message:
In Project Explorer, right-click the project to open the context menu.
Select > to open the New File wizard.
Enter or select the folder in which you want to store the message.
In the File name field, enter a name for the message.
Click .
The new message opens in the XML editor.
Fill in the contents (body and header text) of the message.
On the menu bar, click > to save the test message.
